First off, I LOVE getting "flowers" from all of you, but how do I delete them or hide them? There was a while I wasn't on here (or paying attention to my account) and all of a sudden, (it seems) I have 161 UNREAD in my inbox! It takes a bit of time to go through each one....
So, how do I delete them? By all means, once I clear my list, I will love your flowers if you feel like sending them.

Right now I have 29,207 unopened flowers. I've been here a long time! Although I appreciate every single flower, I open half at best! It would take waaaaay too long!
I have 6,058.....that I haven't opened! That means I have more there that I already opened.
I have no idea how to get rid of them...but I like looking at that number....gives me a warm fuzzy! LOL
You can't delete them but if you are talking about just viewing them so you don't have the big red number in the corner the easiest way is right click on them and open in a new tab and then close all the tabs. That way you are not navigating between pages for every flower.
Oh, yeah and to quickly navigate between pages just change the last number of the URL once you are on page two. So on page two the URL would end with a 2, highlight it and make it a 3 or 10 or 100 to move from page to page.

I was up to around 6,000 unopened and it was driving me nuts so I figured out the above. I was on my work machine which is slower than death. Even on that it only took me 30 minutes to find and open those 6,000. At home it may have been 15 minutes, I don't consider that a huge amount of time.

you cannot delete them. You can open them and then you won't have any unopened in your box...however...no delete button!!
Jo W had found a way to open more than one at a time - I think...try PMing her and asking!!

I find if I open my mail then click on the mail links, very quickly one after another, it changes them to read without opening each individual mail. Of course, since we only get 10 mails per page, you can only do this in groups of ten.
If there's a way, I've never found it. :)
Yeah it's annoying for some reason and I am sure they could save some server space if they made it possible to delete. I like the flowers and all but I don't like random things lying around online. On my floor ok but not in my web accounts - I guess that makes me weird.
LOL my number in the red box is 5,167. I don't dare click on the box because it would take forever to open them, so I just ignore that it's there. Wish they could be cleared out though.

I never found it either. I have a couple that always show cause I am to lazy to go looking for them.
I spent an hour one day doing the quick open that Jo recommends to get down to a reasonable number (150). Now when I see I have anything higher than 150, I will check to see which advice is being appreciated. It is way more manageable for me, and I also LOVE the flowers.
How do you guys know the total number of flowers you have?

I opened enough to get me to an even number (200) and now I know if I have more then 200 I have a new one.
You don't delete them. You have to click on them. When Mamasource switched to Mamapedia, I went back through and opened and opened and opened until I didn't want to do it anymore, so I quit. But I open them now so that the number doesn't continue to climb.
Sorry there's not another way...
