Just wondering if there were any funny stories out there about your kids walking in on you... This just happened to me and my hubby yesturday and we have 3 kids.. 1st time I was so embarrassed but I couldn't stop laughing..lmao We had the door locked and kids occupied I'm not sure what went wrong but we hit the floor literally and my daughter was like "mom you have your pants back on yet".. OMG!! How embarrassing!! then to make matters worse we tried to 'finish' and there's a gap between our door and the floor because the carpet got ripped out. So all the sudden there's this hand under there. She was trying to spy under the door frame.. LOL That's when I just gave up.. haha It's hard because my hubbys on the road most of the time so it's hard to 'find time' We never had this prob before and I Just wondered if any of you moms might have gone thru this.. I dont even wanna wait for the day that my kids actually figure out what is going on..lol

well, I have never been busted yet... my dd is only 10 months... but I can (and believe me, I have tried) never forget the time I walked in on my GRANDPARENTS!!! *shudder* I try to block the memory as best I can. lol. I don't think they even know I caught them... they were pretty 'in the moment' and I never mentioned it to them...

our 13 yr old busted us last week! he was supposed to be over at my mom's (we live on the same property) when suddenly we hear him at the door. my husband jumped up, threw on a pair of sweats and headed to the living room to cut him off. son says where's mom? hubby says in the bedroom.. son then notices dad has a tent pole holding out his sweats..says "OMG!" and leaves...fast...we laughed for a good 10 minutes. son never said a word about it...

When my oldest son was about 18 months old ... hubby and I were busy while he was "still asleep". Unfortunately he woke up before we were done, came into our bedroom without us knowing it ... and JUMPED on my husbands back ... while he was still inside me. He thought we were "wrestling" and wanted to play too.

I can hear you all snickering ... well here's what's gonna make you fall out of your chair laughing ... at 18 months old, my son was the size of the average 3 year old.

Don't hurt yourselves now :)

I just discovered yesterday that apparently my oldest son saw saw us last year (I know it was that long because he says it was at our old house and we moved 9 months ago) but he just now told us. My husband kissed me and out of the blue J asked us if we were going to have sex. We asked him what he was talking about and he said he'd seen us. I wanted to die. Especially since it's been long enough I have no idea just exactly what he saw. All he said was that it was at night and he got up to go to the bathroom. Sigh....

We talked to him about it, and that was that. He's not really that curious yet and really couldn't care. We talked to all the kids and reaffirmed the the "knock first" rule.

I have gotten "why is mommy making funny sounds" from my youngest a couple of times. She's the only one home now so my husband and I might try to steal a moment when she's supposed to be napping. They must have radar or something since they ALWAYS need help w/ something, want something, start a fight w/ each other, whatever right when we finally find a moment to be by ourselves.

When I was growing up, my family was pretty open about sex. We were able to ask whatever we wanted unless it got too personal and then my parents wouldn't answer. But the basic questions were covered. And I remember the weekend I came home after my first time (I have no idea how my mother figured it out, I certainly didn't tell either of them) she gave me a big box of condoms. I really could have just disappeared right then.

I did walk in on them once. It was really late at night and there was a very low light on. They'd happened to leave their door open which should have been fine since they were downstairs and on the other side of the house. I don't remember why I was even in the living room (their bedroom was off of it) at that time. I do remember it taking me about 5 seconds to figure it out (I think I was around 12) and beat it out of there! LOL I don't think they even realized I was there.

Never been walked in on yet, but all the stories are making me appreciate that the most romantic line uttered in our bedroom is "Did you lock the door?" : )

We're usually able to have our fun time after she's been in bed awhile. Though there was one night we were cuddling and we heard, "What ARE you doing?!" The inflection of her voice, it just cracked us up. We still joke about it. My husband will lean over and nuzzle me then ask, "What ARE you doing?!" the same way she did.

Too funny. This last weekend, I put my 3 yo daughter in her room for a nap. My husband and I started fooling around and then we heard our daughter yelling from her room "Mommy, you alright?" and she kept asking until I finally yelled back "yep,I'm alright". Luckily, she can't get out of her room as we have the inside door knob childproofed. We just laughed and laughed.

Put Vaseline on the doorknob, so they can't open it! ; )

I can remember the first time I found out about sex. When I was little, central air was not something everyone had. The only room that was cooled in the middle of summer was my parent's bedroom, because they had one of those window air conditioners. So when it was REALLY hot and muggy (most of the summer in Ohio!) my brother and I were allowed to sleep on the floor in their room.

And one night I woke up to my mom's giggling. Then I heard my dad say, "I can't get my little tinkler in there." (swear to God, his exact words!) And I lay there thinking, 'where is he trying to PUT his little tinkler?' I stayed quiet. But the next morning I asked my 15 yo sister what they were talking about, and she about died laughing. Then she told me. And I can remember sitting there thinking, Eewwww! NO ONE is ever going to do that to ME!!!

Now that I'm grown, I look back on that and think, poor mom - dad only had a LITTLE one!

Not yet but one time one of the kids found the condoms and asked what they were and I said they were 'wet naps'.
I also unfortunatly, thanks to this question, remember hearing my parents one night.

I never did catch my parents....and I don't think the kids ever caught us...BUT! I walked in on my son and his girlfriend and didn't even know it! The room was dark, I said good night and patted HER leg through the blanket. They told me a few years later. UGGGHHHHH!

Funny subject to bring up. lol

Not so far for us either. Our boys are 4 and 2 1/2 and 1 day overdue. We certainly take advantage when we have a few minutes and are both awake, but if the kids are watching a cartoon and we sneak out we leave the door open to hear emergencies and fasten the gate on the stairs so they don't come up. I've warned my husband to watch out as soon as the baby is a few weeks old since I'll be making up for lost time, and at that point who knows? I might become a little less cautious. :)

when my youngest was about 3 and taking a "nap" we went upstairs. in our house at the time, there was no door on our bedroom, you just walked up the stairs and the whole upstairs was our room. anyway, at least we had the covers on us because she came up, stood beside the bed and asked "whatcha doin'?" we laughed and told her to get a snack while we got dressed.

Yep, the 10yr old did. we thought the door was closed and everyone asleep. He busted in and yelled "mom are you ok? why are you screaming!?" Thank goodness it was pitch black! I just said i was having a very bad dream!! LOL!

wow AWESOME question!!
THese answers are soo fun to read.

My hubby and I have been "caught" We have a 2 y/o so he doesn't know whats going on. But he's walked in on us a couple times now
One time, he came in and just stood silent at the side of our bed. We didn't notice him at first..So we're doing our thing..i look to my left and there is this little face staring dead at me. I burst into laughter.
Another time, he walked in on us, and thought we were playing and tried to join in.
It so funny.

Doesn't have to deal with sex, but when our DS sees his daddy naked he says "daddy-o Don't pee pee on da floor"
lmao
