I am new to Knoxville and live just off Cedar Bluff and Middlebrook Pike. I have visited Salon Visage and really don't want to pay the prices there....Do you ladies have suggestions for a good salon and stylist/colorist that are dependable and not as highly priced as Salon Visage?

What can I do next?

I have gone to Mary Bailey at Regency Salon since I was 19. (I'm 35 now). The prices are reasonable and she is the best hairdresser I have ever met, hands down. I have traveled all over the united states and I always come back to her. I never even have to "play" with my hair after I leave, because it's always perfect. She is the owner and it may take some time to get an appointment with her. I usually book 6 weeks in advance. The salon is in the Marriot uptown. Hope this helps!

I go to Lauren at Twisted Scissors. She does a great job and I feel she is reasonably priced. Twisted Scissors is located off of Kingston Pike, just past Homberg Place.

I have found the best salon and stylist over the weekend. The name of the salon is Hair Junction off of Cedar Bluff. The stylist name is Judy.

I had always cut my hair in Texas. When we relocated to the Knoxville area two years ago, I was never able to find someone who would cut my hair the way I wanted it cut plus ended up paying a fortune, $40-45 until now. For around 35 dollars I found the perfect salon/stylist. Now I don't have to wait until I go back to Texas for a visit to get my hair cut which was once or twice a year.

I go to Rob in Belleza - its right next to Krispy Kreme on Kingston Pike - close to the intersection of NorthShore on Kingston Pike - he is great - I have been going there for 4 years now - they charge $34 and then I usually leave a tip of $8 - its not cheap but they do a good job and I only go ince in 2 or 3 months
