Red Envelope (online site) had a cool credit card style/shaped bottle opener that you could engrave with a message. I chose this over the beer holster, which I thought was hilarious, but would never want to see my husband wearing, lol :)

I take a lot of pride in giving thoughtful gifts. I try to think about that person - his hobbies, his background, his childhood, his favorite palces and start there. My co-worker just came to me and said I have no idea what to get my husband. I said....Soccer jersey or tickets to a soccer game or soccer memorabilia framed in a shadow box. She was floored. He plays soccer every weekend. It wasn;t that hard to know what he would like!
Another girls' honey was a highschool hero, so I told her to do a glory days thing for him and dig up old pictures, trophys, whatever of the old days and make a shadow box or scrap book.
Just like we dont want the same ole box of chcolates and flowers...we want a man to take the time to put a little htough itno it. I think men probably want the same thing. If that's no good...........go for the high tech stuff! LOL men like gadgets. video games...stereo stuff... new phones...bluray

We don't make a big to do about V day either but if I we did, I would go overboard on his favorite yummy. Like Juno did for Bleeker with the mailbox full of tic tacs. Hmmm may not work for mine though unless it's a whole load of hot sauce =).

I have always gotten him the same thing: v-day silk boxers and a card.
let's see what I get this year. Last year I got a 'quick trip to CVS to get me a chocolate bar because he forgot it's valentine's day'

I get my hubby the same thing every V day...

His favorite dessert: Cupcakes...yellow cake, chocolate frosting w/pink and red hearts on top.

Followed by an early night in bed ;) We put kids to bed early, we go to bed early, I light some candles, we pop in a movie and snuggle...

He gets me the same thing every year too...we are total creechers of habit!
He brings home our favorite take-out, some flowers for me & a box of candy and gets the kids ready for bed!
