So What Happened?

I bought the program on ebay for $8.95 and I plan to take a look at it tonight. I am excited about it. I'm not into taking any medicine but doing it naturally - Thank you to those with kind words. I am not at all offended by the name. Americans are known to be very stupid when it comes to there diet.

It is not offending! Laugh a little!! Life is too short!!! I haven't heard of it. I would love to see what it is all about. Any diet works, as long as it is healthy and you follow it.

I don't know anything about it either, but I know the important things for loosing weight is exercise, portion control (Americans tend to eat larger portions than they need) and increasing your veggie and fruit intake while decreasing your starchy foods intake. (There again, Americans eat too many starches, and potatoes are considered a starch/carb not a vegetable.) Also, drinking lots of WATER (not sodas and juices) will help with weight loss.

Weight Watchers is really good because they focus on changing your eating/exercise habits in a way that can stay long term if you let it. I personally have never joined, but my MIL and SIL have done it and lost quite a bit of weight that way. And when they stick with it, they keep it off. I personally am not into paying to loose weight, but they have given me the points list for foods and helped me figure out how many points I can eat, and doing just that much has helped me loose weight. Weight watchers is also nice because you have a support system and someone that you are accountable to for doing what you are supposed to do. I just use my husband for that. Whatever you decide to do, good luck.

You should check out Herbalife. My mom has lost 70 pounds this year and she looks and feels wonderful. If you are interested, just send me a message and I can give you her phone number. She is a distributor with an inventory, so she can get you the products pretty quick.

I asked about this a few months back and from what I gathered, it is a simple and basic idea concept you can implement on your own. It is a fad diet and someone else gets the benefits (your money). I am looking into SparkPeople.com and tried the Setting Captives Free study, but I just did not have the time to read the material every night. I have tried and succeeded with First Place Bible Study program...though I have strayed again and gained it back. I have to have a plan to stay thin...sad but true. You can find a lot of the First Place book on Ebay or at Half Price Books stores sometimes.

God bless.

I am personally offended by the title and you shouldn't have to pay people to lose weight. Although Weight Watchers has done wonderful things for many people in my office.

Hi A.,

I have not seen this book yet. For help with both fat loss and reducing stress, I recommend checking out www.VitalHealth.TunguskaMist.com

Read all the info on adaptogens, and the new fast acting oral adaptogen sprays called Tunguska Mist. Adaptogens are a category of herbs that help the body deal with stress, restore balance, and support normal metabolic processes. Often times stress causes us to overeat as well as produce excess cortisol (causes the body to store fat). Adaptogens support weight management by regulating blood sugar, insulin metabolism, and cortisol levels; aid in digestion; and increase energy. In fact, adaptogens have the ability to shift the body's metabolism to a greater use of fat for energy.

The rapid release delivery system of the adaptogens in Tunguska Mist Pure and Tunguska Mist Slim will help bring your body into balance, reduce stress at the cellular level, and suppress your appetite to quash cravings. They are convenient to carry with you and take whenever you feel stress coming on, or need the extra willpower to support your weight loss program.

Are your working out? Are you also weight training? Lean muscle mass will help speed up your metabolism, thus you will burn more calories. Avoid fast food, processed foods, and especially all types of soft drinks, if you are not already. Eating 5-6 small healthy meals throughout the day, while drinking plenty of water helps keep your engine burning!

2 great books that I recommend are: Living Lean, by Larry North and Adaptogens: Herbs for Strength, Stamina, and Stress Relief by Winston and Maimes.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, or need further advice/encouragement. I've studied health, wellness, and Kinesiology for many years and have a passion for helping people change their life.

Believe in yourself and focus on your goals! You can do it!!!

Best regards,
N.

this is a great program. Some may think of it as a fad diet from what I have read on the comments. But personally I think it is great. I am on my 4th-11 day session. It isn't really a "diet". its a change in your lifestyle. your habits of eating. It does work, and I don't say this because iI profit from it (I noticed some people were tooting their own weight loss things that they sell). By the 3rd-11 day session I had lost 20 pounds.(that would be 20lbs in 42 days)
Basically the diet is "11 days on" and "3 cheat days off". You don't measure portions, you don't count calories, you don't have hard things to follow or things you don't enjoy eating (unless you are not a fan of vegetables). You get to choose from two lists of foods. then it generates a menu for you. It's not really a menu per se, it's more of 4 meals a day, that you can eat in any order. The only rule is that you eat 4 meals a day, and that you stop eating before you are full ,and drink plenty of water. I love this, because now on my 4th-11 days session, I see that my habits are changing I eat differently even on my "cheat days". I am eatng healthier during my 11 days on than I ever did. you eat tons of vegetables, fruit etc etc, all the food groups in a healthy balance. I feel much better physically and I am also now combining it with exercise. My parents did this "diet" also, and they lost weight well on it. I know it says 9 pounds in 11 days, but its not quite that much every time. I love this program. It was inexpensive also, I believe it was only 20 bucks. you generate the menu again and again without having to pay again. You hae some combinations of choices on themeals that you may think I can't possible get full on this...but oyu do, you sometimes think, this is a wierd combination, but it turns out not to be. You get very creative with the food and how to prepare it.This is the easiest "diet" I have ever done. Mostly because your stomach tells you what to do, and you are eating very healthy things. You should try it out. I will keep you posted on my progress. Like I said I have lost 20 pounds, and I plan to lose another 50. That's my goal. Good Luck to you.
