I am unhappy with my current Pediatrician and would like to switch. I live in the Pikesville area, and my current pediatrician is in Columbia. Can anyone recommend a good pediatrician in Baltimore County and/or Howard County.

What can I do next?

We have used Pediatric Associates since my son was born and they have been great. There are 4 or 5 dr's in the practice plus the nurses. They actually go under the name of Leffler, Cahill, and Assoc PA I think it is. They take phone calls at 2 am on Saturday and have even seen my son Sunday morning at 7 am in the office as a special nonroutine appt when he was sick as an infant. They are in Ellicott City. I totally recommend them. All the dr's and nurses there are wonderful.

Hi A.,
I'd recommend any of the Doctors at Pavilion Pediatrics. They are located at Greenspring Station. I personally see Dr. Hearns and have been very pleased with her. HTH!

Hi A.,
Just wanted to let you known that I take my 6 yr old to Dr. Sullivan at 2112 Dundalk Avenue (Greater Dundalk Medical Center). Their phone number is ###-###-####. She's in her 30's or 40's so I don't think she will be retiring anytime soon and has young children herself. I have been taking my son to her for about 2 yrs since his previous pediatrician was retiring. She's very nice and converses with the children so they will understand, treats them as if they are on the same level. Any questions, just let me know. Good Luck.
L. M

I live in the same area as you but I trek on over to Wilkens Medical Center to see Dr. Sushil Chander. He is great and my son love him. He acts like he is taking care of one of his own children. He answers all of your questions even when you think they are silly. He also provides you very detailed developmental information sheets. Here is a link for his info:
