New to Columbia-Need Recommendation for Doctors/dentists

We are moving to Columbia next week (from Denver) and I really need recommendations for pediatric doctors and dentists. I just noticed tonight that my 4 year old son is getting a "grown-up" tooth in behind his baby teeth and we will need to have a dentist take a look at it as soon as possible. Also, my 1 year old daughter has a kidney disorder that she was born with and it is important that we keep it monitored.

Thank you so much in advance! I am really nervous about moving to a new area where I don't know anyone!

What can I do next?

My son goes to Pediatric Associates in Ellicott City. All the dr's are great. Their # is ###-###-####. They actually saw my son at 7 am in the office on a Sunday morning when he was sick one time. My son sees his dentist Dr. Avi Mizrachi in Owen Brown in Columbia. If you would like their # let me know. I don't have it with me right now. Welcome to MD.

Hi L.,
I used to live in Columbia and it is a great place to live. It is such a family friendly area. I still attend church in Columbia although I live in Balitmore,County.
The Pediatric Center on Route 100 is wonderful. My doctor
is Dr. Standiford, he's been my sons doctor since birth and my son is 15 yrs.old. I don't know of any dentist, but I'm sure if you ask anyone in the Pediatric center they can refer you to a good pediatric dentist. Don't worry you'll find Columbia a great place to live. If you are looking for a very welcoming church home, Christ Episcopal Church on Oakland Mills Rd. is where I attend. They have a great childrens program.
Good Luck,
A.

Welcome to the area. There is a lot to do. There is a wonderful co-op preschool thru East Columbia Preschool. Thursdays at the mall with Ms. Julie- she does storytime and has entertainers. The librairies have wonderful classes.

I also take both of my boys to the Pediatric Center off of Columbia 100 Parkway. They see Dr. Reilly but all the doctors there are wonderful and they have hours on Saturday for sick appointments.
