Hey Mama's,

I have a question. My son is 7 months old and my husband and I want to put together an easter basket for him. But we are sure what to put it in. He has plenty of toys.

So Mama's what have you put in your little ones first Easter Baskets?

What can I do next?

He will love the eggs. Walmart has some 'oversized' eggs that will be perfect for him, even the smaller ones filled with things that rattle (that he can't choke on). Our daughter, at that age, loved to shake things. A book about Easter or the Easter bunny would be good too, in lieu of toys.

For my son's first basket (he was only 11 months) we filled it with those plastic cheap eggs -- and you can put various things (small but safe objects) in them -- so they serve as small maracas or shakers for them.....

I like to put practical, yet fun things in the basket. How about Mr. Bubble bubble bath, Spider Man bandaids, character toothbrush (to save for the future), toddler food treats they sell in grocery stores, miniature books, colorful socks?

For my daughter last year (she was 6 months old) we did a small basket with two board books and two small Easter beanie babies, a duck and a rabbit.

We did something soft (stuffed animal) and a Baby's First Bible (they make good sturdy board book ones).
