of a place that I can get balloons filled with helium? Is it free or would I have to pay? Do any of you know if I can buy a helium tank? (I know that they have those small ones that you can buy but I am not sure if it will fill the amount of balloons I have)

TIA!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Well the last reply had some awesome advice! THANKS! Since I already have my own balloons and I live at 8 Mile and Inkster I decided to use Warren Drugs. I called them and they only charge 25 cents to blow up my own balloons. Thank you very much for everyone's advice!

Stacy,

You can buy tanks in many places for about $20.00. You'll have it on hand for many occasions that way. (Walmart, Target, Probably KMart)

You can also get balloons at places that have party supplies. I get most of mine filled at Krogers. Ask for "Super Flow" to be added to the balloon first. I had regular latex balloons last for days because of the Super Flow. Normally, they barley last the day.

I think it's much cheaper to buy the tank, personally, after doing both ways for years.

Go to your local party supply store and you can rent a tank depending on the number of ballons you have to inflate. Or if you have a tank, they can fill it for a small fee.

Party stores like Party City and Party America have helium tanks, I think different sizes. I'm not sure if they will fill balloons that aren't bought at their store, but you can call and ask. Dollar stores do balloons as well and might fill your own balloons.

Hi S.,

I recommend 2 places for balloons: WArren Drugs on Midlebelt & 14 Mile Rd., you can get a dozen balloons blown up for less than $5.00, their phone # is ###-###-####. Also, all of the Party City Stores have balloons that they will blow up and arrange for you, you will have to call them to get the price. Helium tanks may be espensive, depending on how many you have to blow up, plus, if they are over the size of the small ones you see, they might have to be delivered, due to regulations of transporting gas tanks. If you look in the phone book under party or carnival supplies, they can give you the prices on tanks for rent. Have fun!

You can rent them at party supply shops. Not sure of the charge. They have different sizes and will be able to tell you approx. how many balloons each will fill
