This depends on the implant type and the dr.

I use Dr. David E. Martin at Medical City. My implants are silicone and nearly indestructible since you can cut them in half and nothing will leak. They are now made more like jello than balloons. I had saline before and the leaked after 11 years. Dr. Martin replaced them this past spring with the new ones. They are totally different! The saline ones were quite a bit harder than these. The silicone ones feel like real boobs.

As for cost.. There is $1000 difference in the cost of the types of implants. The surgery for new implants will cost you upwards of $4K to $5K. They do have financing through Care Credit if you need it. It is cheaper to not use a financing company.

Shoot me a message if you need any more information! :)

That is going to vary widely by doc. Your best bet is to do lots of research on your own, visit at least 3 plastic surgeons to get opinions.

When I was going to have mine done the cost varied wildly from one doc to the next. One had bargain rate prices and surgical results to match by looking at his pics. And the one that was the most expensive had great results but I didn't like what he was proposing for me based on what I had learned on my own and my body. He was a one size/method fits all kind of guy.

And the way they wanted to do the surgery varied just as much so do your research so you walk in with lots of knowledge about what they are going to discuss with you.

I used Dr Whetstone in Irving- he did great work and has a very good bedside manner. It has been 3 years so pricing may be different now. I paid about 6300 for a reduction and lift. I did find the prices greatly range in the DFW area.

It depends on which doctor, and which operating room or hospital you use.
