I'm having trouble posting responses & sending flowers. I keep getting a "Javascript Void" notice. Am I a singular event or are other members having similar issues?

This has happened periodically thru the past few months, but is now consistently occuring each week.

Thank you for any/all input!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

thanks for the great hints/solutions! It's weird, because it's so random. Like just now, everything is a.o.k. But at least once/day, I hit that dead zone. :)

After looking up a javascript void error message I found this potential solution:

It sounds as though your javascript is disabled. You have to enable it, in case it is disabled.

For Mozilla Firefox
=============
To turn on JavaScript is FireFox 3.0, follow the procedures given below.
1. Start your browser
2. Select Tools-->Options
3. From the "options" dialog box that appears, select the "Content" Tab.
4. Click on the "Enable JavaScript" checkbox.
5. Click OK.

For Internet Explorer
===============
1. Select Tools->Internet Options
2. From the "Internet Options" dialog box that appears, Click on the "Security" tab.
3.Click on the "Custom Level" Button present at the bottom of the dialog box.
4. The "Security Settings" dialog box appears.
5. Scroll through the dialog box and find "Scripting"->"Active Scripting" and click on the "Enable" radio button.

Opera
====
1. Select File==>Preferences
2. On the left side of the window, select "Multimedia".
3. Enable the "JavaScript" Checkbox.
4. Press the OK Button.
5. Restart the browser.

and presto!! JavaScript is enabled in your browser.

Hey S.,

I have this same trouble. I would say what my IT husband says: restart your computer, because usually, I find that the inability to post or send flowers is due to slower load-up. When you are getting the Javascript void message, move your cursor off the icon and see what's happening on that bottom corner of your browser. There are so many ads on this site that they usually have to load up before the functionality of the Post or Send a Flower buttons can work.

Just my experience!

Are you talking the bottom left corner saying Javascriptvoid(0). I haven't written in Java in forever but that is just a call to the GUI button, it is supposed to say that even when it is functioning properly.

Since everyone else is working fine I would say it is an issue on your machine or perhaps the browser you are using. If you are running IE, stop that!! That is the worst freaking browser on earth!! Load Chrome or Firefox. That will make most of your problems go away.
