Was wondering if anyone had Dr. D. Hill or Dr. Virgil Davila as their doctor for prenatal care?? This is my first pregancy and searching for a great doctor who could help make my experience wonderful and knowledgable. and please if you have any experiences with these docs and their staff, please share. =)
My sister in law uses Dr Davila and really likes him. I am going to check him out myself for my next GYN appt because I am looking for a new doctor too.
I saw someone posted about Dr. Hill at Loch Haven, but he's A. Hill. If that is who you meant, I will second the review from the other mommy. I've been going to him long before I got pregnant and he is amazing. Actually, every doctor at that office is amazing. I really wanted to just stay with Dr. Hill, but, of course, they make you see everyone because who knows who would be on call when I delivered. They were all amazingly sweet, knowledgeable, and professional. If they take your insurance, I would definitely look into going to Loch Haven. Good luck!
If you're referring to Dr. Hill with the Loch Haven Group he is the absolute best!! Very experienced, knowledgeable, personable, and down to earth. I had a very complicated pregnancy with my son and didn't start seeing Dr. Hill until the very late stages of my high risk pregnancy. I was on hospitalized bed rest and was transferred to his care due to having to be at Florida Hospital South. After my pregnancy I continued to see him and would highly recommend him. When my son was only four months old (he's now two) I had to have uterine fibroid tumors removed. Dr. Hill performed the surgery and did a great job not to compromise my uterus. I'm not sure where you live but I live in Metrowest and I used Dr. Orrego for my most recent baby and he is a wonderful dr.
A close friend used Davila as her OB/GYN and was very happy with him. There is another doctor that works out of that office named Lopez and I have seen him and like him very much. He is my new OB/GYN. They both deliver at Winnie Palmer. The only downside is my friend reported long waits in the waiting room for appointments.
i had dr. davila with my youngest 2 boys. i loved him and his staff. they are wonderful. dr. davila is very gentle. i was on staywell medicaid. you can call up there to see what all they take for insurance.
