Dr. Cueto with Sutter Medical Center is great! He specializes in high risk BUT you don't have to be high risk to go to him. It made me feel more comfortable knowing that if something should happen he would know how to handle it.

Hi Amy,

I go to Dr. Dina Canavero and I think she's great! She's part of Associates in Women's Health Care in Roseville. There are several doctors in the group and I have friends that have seen every one of them and all have had wonderful things to say. I'm not sure if any of them specialize in high risk pregnancies, but they do have a website and you may be able to find out a little more about them. It is: http://aiwhc.com/ The phone number is ###-###-####.

Best of luck to you!
Jennifer

Hi Amy,
I used the most wonderful OB/GYNs in Folsom for my pregnancy. I saw a male and female, Dr. Jeffrey Cragun and Dr. Carrie Gordon. I am a RN who works at Mercy Folsom and they came highly recommended from fellow RN's because of their experience with them. I had a high risk pregnancy and it made me feel good that as soon as they felt I was too high risk to deliver at Mercy Folsom they transferred me to Sacramento Maternal Fetal Medicine (where I feel that I also got wonderful care). The office number is: ###-###-####

Hope this helps.
Jenn

I ow that this might be a little far but I love Dr. Paul Murphy in Roseville. He is very patient and will listen to all questions. He is Roseville and uses Sutter Roseville.

I have THE BEST OB/Gyn EVER!!!! He delivered both my sons and he is wonderful. I have already referred five members of my family/friends to him, and they all love him as well.... His name is Dr. Cueto and he is with the Sutter Roseville doctors group. He is witty, comforting, knowledgeable, and has a great staff... (his nurse assistant is awesome too)

Please let me know if you need a phone number etc....

Good luck!!!

Dr. Michael Burman is great, I have had him for years and he highly recommended by a dr I worked for(that is always an awesome way to get referrals). His number is ###-###-####. I had alot of fertility issues and he was great through them all and his staff is great and very personable. Also, I have quite a few girlfriends who go to and have had babies delievered by(me too 13 yrs ago) Dr. Richard Taggert. He has been around a long time and is well known. His staff is great as well and I felt well taken care of through out my whole pregnancy. He ha an ulstrasound machine in his office which is cool because you can have them done right there! His number is ###-###-####.He is in Carmichael and the other one his downtown Sacramento next to Sutter Memorial Hospital. Sorry if I rambled. Good luck and let me know how it goes!

I can't say enough about the one I had (although, he was out of town when I had my daughter since she was early!). He is private practice, so unless he's out of town, he's at the delivery. He also specializes in high risk, but you don't have to be high risk to see him. He's regularly in the list of "Best Doctors" that Sacramento Magazine does.

I was totally paranoid and obsessive about every aspect of my prenatal care and he was extremely patient and willing to explain and talk about everything. He accepts several types of insurance, too. Call his office to ask, since the insurance websites don't necessarily have every doctor (he didn't show up on mine, but they covered it).
