Any Experience with 'Up-dos'??

Doing up-do and make up is my favorite thing to do! I'm not a trained hairstylist or anything, but all the girls in my neighborhood and the girls that babysit my boys on occasion always ask me to do their hair for events. I did an entire wedding party with 8 girls a few years back and I have some photos I could show you if you want. I would be willing to help you for absolutely free! it's so much fun and you would be the most popular mom on the block! :)

Might go to the local beauty school and have one of the techs come to your home and do the cheerleaders hair for x-amount a piece.

When my daughter did competitive cheer I used to put her hair up in a ponytail and then take sponge rollers and a sticky hair spray and I would spray a section of hair and put a sponge roller in it, doing this until the whole ponytail was rollers. Then, I put a bandana on her head to sleep. In the morning you take the sponge rollers out and the ponytail is tight curls. Some would spray glitter on the hair and adorn with a bow or ribbon too. The curls stay all day. Very cute.

I don't know if this would be an option if they are REALLY flipping around, but I bought the cutest Updo combs at Sam Moons at Harry Hines/35E that are combs with pre-styled falls. All you do is make a tight bun and push the comb in for the pre-made updo. It might work if you use hairpins and bobby pins... $14/each
