Apparently this was on Monday and I didn't send my two sec.'s anything. Is it to late to send them flowers or a gift of some sort?

What can I do next?

It's not too late. You can even make light of it, telling them that this shows how much you need them...you can't remember their day without their help! They will understand and appreciate anything you do.

It's actually today so you are on time!

We did flowers, a card and lunch "on us" for them.

It's actually today ~ you're not too late! Not sure you'd be able to find some place available to deliver flowers today tho. You could go to a close spa place and get gift certificates, give them a card with a cash bonus, take them to a nice lunch or give them the afternoon off with pay :)

Buy them lunch. Pick the place, have them put in their order, go get it and bring it to them. That way they still have their lunch hour to do what they want, run errands etc.
You can buy inexpensive flowers, box of chocolates etc.
Give them a two hour lunch or 2 hrs off etc.

I think anytime this week is good....does not matter. I had a boss who appreciated us all the time...cards, lunches, flowers, chocolates, donuts, he even said thank you everytime we did something.....you do not get that much usually. We were equally kind to him..so hope this helps

As an admin as long as you are respectful throughout the year and appreciate the hard work on a regular basis, a card or acknowledgment is plenty anything else is a plus and welcomed (whenver)~
