Just want to say how very blessed I am to have the most amazing daugher in law ever. I had her baby shower today and she was in awe of everything. She is so kind and loving. We have an unbelievable relationship. She includes me in everything.
I get to see ultrasounds, and hear that little heartbeat. She brought me to tears today with the words she used to describe how she felt about me. I am a lucky lady. MILs tend to get a back rap.

All of you mamas have been so supportive of me and some of my questions, the most recent being about a kidney issue with the
baby. My son and DIL have decided not to do any more scans, tests. They will wait until she is born and she will have an u/s
of her kidneys. Then they will take one step at a time.

You are all the best and I just wanted to share my happiness with you today.

P.

I just had a visit with my son and DIL and I told her over and over how much I love her and what a great job she's doing raising my granddaughter and taking such good care of my son (my baby).
I cant imagine how stressful it would be to not get along with your childs spouse. I know I will never be like that.
My sons wouldnt marry bitches, lol.

What a wonderful appreciation of your daughter-in-law!

I just want to add some words of encouragement: I've heard stories of a lot of 'false positives' in utero, so please hope for the best.

And for what it's worth, I have a very good, appreciative relationship with my own MIL. I'm sure your daughter in law is a lucky gal to have such reciprocity of esteem in your relationship.:)

What a great post to wake up to.

I tell my MIL that I would rent her out. She is so wonderful. I'm so happy that you and your DIL get along so well. And I really love to hear stories of other's wonderful DILs and MILs.

I pray the baby is healthy. When the llittle one comes the doctors will know what to do.

Congratulations! Thanks for sharing your happiness with us. Btw, i dont know if you've posted about this, but my daughter (now 10 months) had dilated kidney in utero. We were so scared the whole pregnancy about that, and other issues like high fluid. However, after her birth, we had an ultrasound of her kidney, and it was fine! It corrected itself!!! Good luck and god bless!
