Did anyone watch the Primetime Special Edition last night about Jaycee Duggard? What were your thoughts on it?
I couldn't imagine how it would feel to be kidnapped and raped and then to have 2 babies by the time she was 17. This story brought tears to my eyes.
Yes I watched it. I was going to mention it here to give everyone a chance to watch. Im in N. Ca so it was a big story years ago when she was kidnapped. I remember the tv news about it. Shes amazing. Such a strong gracious woman. I cant get over how she is not furious and eaten up with anger. Suce a good lesson to us all who think our lives are so hard. Imagine being in her shoes. What a story. I plan to buy the book too.

I watched it and it just tears me up inside! I just can't imagine my child having to endure that and the poor Mother feeling guilty for not kissing her that morning! Those little girls will need some MAJOR counseling to live a "normal" life after being born in raised in such an environment. Basically it makes me ill to think of what that sicko was doing!
I MISSED IT! But I was reading about it in People magazine. I can't wait to read her book. I know I'm going to cry my eyes out. I might see if the interview in on demand. That woman has so much good in her; I wouldn't have been able to get through it. I hope we all take strength from her story. Unbelievable. Damn those awful people to hell!!!!! And the woman involved had the audacity in court to ask Jaycee's mother if the girls ever ask about her!! EFFE YOU!! Ugh, they make me sick sick sick...
