Weekend - Harrisburg,PA

I'm so glad you had a good time! Ours was good too. Friday we hung out at the pool and then had a nice dinner. Saturday we had a lazy morning and then my daughter had some friends over to play in the afternoon. Sunday I cleaned the house and got stuff organized for the week and then yesterday we spent the day at my mom's. I watched Human Planet (this BBC thing about how people adapt living in different environments- such as people who live in the desert or these people that worship monkeys but eat them too because it's there only source of food. Fascinating stuff) with my sister and my mom and my kid played in my mom's craft room (their favorite place in her house) and then we came home to a wonderful dinner my husband had cooked. Then we played frisbee and hung out outside until bedtime. It was an awesome weekend and went by too fast!

Here in TX we've had a rough go this summer. Drought and oppressive heat has kept us cooped up indoors. This weekend, though, we got a break! The high Sunday was around 90, so we welcomed that with a couple of great days out with friends. We lunched on restraunt patios, visited with grandparents, played in parks and sat on porches. We even had the doors and windows open yesterday morning. I might seem to make a big deal of this, but 90 degrees is about 15 degrees cooler than what we've endured all summer, so it was a GREAT weekend! :)

Great weekend..normally my kids are at each others throat and we had a very nice weekend and they played so well!!!

Good. San Antonio. Riverwalk and Trolleys. Margaritas and hotel swimming pool. Happy kids, sleepy broke mom.

Went shopping with my bff for last minute school supplies for the kids (high school stuff is expensive!!), on Saturday. Quiet day with my daughter on Sunday, and a 1st birthday party for my niece on Monday. All in all a great weekend.

Nothing...my husband had the flu and we all stayed home..sick & miserable. But since he was sick his parents didnt come over and that was a bright spot for me :)
