Hi! I was hoping to find out for my Mother-in-law if anyone has used or is using a Temper Pedic mattress. She is interested in one, but has found no one who owns one to get their opinion. Any information would be welcomed.
We have Tempur-pedic King Size Celebrity. We love it. The first few weeks she will hate it, very badly. It takes it a while to break in to your body. If she puts a heating pad on the mattress and gets it really warm b4 she gets in, it will break it in faster. I have bad back problems due to Rheumatoid Arthritis and can't sleep on anything else. If you have any other ?s - lmk.
We've had our for 5 years and I will never go back to any other kind of mattress!! Good Luck!
We have one and love it, too. It does take a while to get used to it. Things like turning over, etc., just aren't the same. But now that I'm used to it, it's difficult for me to sleep on a spring mattress. My husband prefers a very firm mattress and I prefer a very soft mattress. Tempurpedic was the only thing we could settle on - very firm support, yet still feels soft.
We own one and have had it for over 6 months. It's fantastic and would recommend it to anyone. It is heavy though and difficult to move around if needed. The good thing about this mattress is that you don't have to turn it. If you live in the DFW area, I would recommend the Bedroom Shop in Arlington because they have the lowest prices in town. We went to several different location before purchasing there. We also bought one for our son as well.
