Checked a site called comparisonhelper and it narrowed me down to these few products. Does anyone have good information about these products?

Don't know if I want a sleep number bed, comfortaire bed, tempurpedic or mattress hero product. Making my mind up soon.

do NOT get the sleep number bed, there are TONS to complaints about the motor breaking and it just not doing what they say. More complaints than praise. Also I've also heard that the tempurpedic beds locks in heat and really you can get the same effect with a 2in pad of the same stuff on a regular mattress.

Tempurpedic mattress is the BEST choice! When I was looking to buy a memory foam mattress due to a recommendation by my chiropractor and my doctor thanks to arthritis, bulging discs, and many other health problems. When looking and comparing Tempurpedic was SO expensive. I finally convinced my hubby that I needed a new bed, we went to a furniture/bedding/appliance store. They had tempurpedic beds there so he could feel the beds. He nearly had a cow, when I picked out what I wanted and he saw the price. I wanted the king size bed, with the double bases. I convinced him to go with a queen size bed and the tempurpedic base. However, the salesman convinced him that Sealy's version was just as good and that is what he agreed to get. I wish to this day that we had spent the extra money.
Tempurpedic has an amazing ability to still support your body even on the edges of the mattress. The sealy version does not, and when you get close to the side of the bed, you feel like you are falling off.
Good luck with your choice!

Does anyone know if getting just the tempurpedic mattress pad (that goes on top of any other mattress) would be equivalent to buying the Tempurpedic mattress ? There's a huge difference in price - so just wondering if anyone knows if it would be equivalent in terms of comfort, etc. ????

Tempur-Pedic. A real one, from www.tempurpedic.com. We have the celebrity king size, paid $4000 but worth every penny. We only had issues tossing and turning and were sick of spring beds. Do not get the sealy equivalent.
It was hard at first and took about a week to get used to but after that we were sleeping through the night. We have had it five years and is still feels as firm as when we got it, no need to turn or flip. Give it a try at Brookestone.

I have had a wide range of mattresses through the years . . . plush pillow-top mattress, a delux waveless water bed with lumbar support, firm, medium, soft . . . but having back problems, I still woke up stiff and with tender spots from pressure. Three years ago i purchased a 4 inch memory foam topper and my life changed. Since then I never wake up stiff or sore. I will buy a memory foam mattress when I can afford it but for now, I am on cloud nine.

My Mom has a lot of back problems and got a temperpedic a few years back. She loves it! I have slept on it and think it is great too. Good luck with your decision.
