I am planning on making stuffed manicotti tonight but I have just realized I no longer have a pastry bag. What is the best way to stuff the pasta? Thanks!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I didn't even think of the tip cut off the bag! Thank you ladies!

I'll try the bag and if that doesn't work I'll break out the old baby spoons and use those.

Ziplog bag and cut off a corner or spoonfill it.

I have a very small spatula and it works well for me.

If you have to have a bag, just use a ziploc and cut off one corner.

Yummy!

I am lazy...I don't pre-cook the pasta. I stuff the shells while they are hard, and then add an extra 1/2 C of water, or wine, or combo into the pan. Turns out perfect every time.

Thats sounds so good, I might have to make some too. I usually just do.the big stuffed shells and fill.with a spoon.

A regular spoon is all I use. I have one that is slightly smaller so that's my preference, but any standard table spoon works. I fill from one end 1/2 way, fip it over (holding the end in my hand) and shovel in the rest of it fro the other end. That way the spoon doesn't have to go all the way down and break the noodle. Kind of like feeding a baby. :)

I decorate cakes, and cook using 'pasty bags' all the time.

I never use pastry bags. I use ziplock bags I cut the corner off of. Sometimes I'll use metal tips, but most of the time I just cut smaller or larger holes in the bags.
