Has anyone ever heard of stomach inflammation? I was just diagnosed with pneumonia and I have this sort of burning pain in the area below my breasts mostly on the left side. The doctor has all these plans for me to check it out and I am thinking there has to be an easy cure for it. I do have acid reflux and take Prevacid for it and am thinking if I take Prilosec that perhaps that will help it. Any thoughts will sure be appreciated. Thank you.

So What Happened?

As time goes on the pain has lightened up. My gut says it has something to do with my coughing fit the day before and not the acid reflux... however, I see the doctor tomorrow and may know more. I no longer have a gall bladder so I know for certain it's not that! I so much appreciate all your help in this. Thank you...

Hello C.,

I have recently watched a PBS special which had Brenda Watson on it. Unfortunatly I don't see that it is airing any time soon. You might want to check out her website. She has a book called the H.O.P.E. formula which stands for High fiber, Omega 3's, Probiotics & Enzymes. She had mentioned that antacids could actually make the situation worse. I've taken Omega 3's and Probiotics for several years & it has been extremely helpful. Also I was thinking you might want to see if you have food allergys such as wheat which can really cause problems. I think the right foods for the body are always the best medicine. I hope you will be feeling better soon and the Doctor will find something helpful for you. Best of luck

Hi C.,
Debra's advice is good but I would like to add Aloe Vera juice is very good for healing the stomach. You can purchase it at many stores however all health food stores will have it for sure. Many brands out there so don't just try one and say yuck.
Good Luck, C. B

Propably medicine was too strong for your sensitive stomach. I work with nutritional consaltants, you can talk to them for free, and also we keep phone numbers of people who've been helped with similar problems. You can ask them how they feel now after using the method that exists for 20 years, if you do not like the out come after 5 weeks, money back quaranty. Best wishes.A..

It may be your gallbladder so hopefully your doctor will check that out too.
