Mount Ranier, Leavenworth, Lake Celan, Vancouver B.C. Victoria B.C ( ok Victoria and Vancouver are not Washington but not that far and pretty easy to get to) You can also stay somewhere in Downtown Seattle. There is also Portland OR again not Washington but still not a far place to go.

We just went up to the San Juans and had a wonderful time! There are lots of vacation rentals available for a week or a weekend, and they are cheaper than a hotel in many cases. Hope you have a wonderful time, wherever you choose to go!

Seattle or Pt. Defiance Aquariums. Pt. Defiance has Beluga whales and Polar bears, walurs, sharks!!! Very cool. Go during day to avoid school age kids.

Seattle science center.

Orcas Island and Whale Museum.

Day trip to Victoria.

Mt. Rainier in Fall for foliage.

Volunteer Park Art Museum and Conservatory--Tacoma has one too, but much smaller.

Have fun.

KS,

I haven't been there, but the Great Wolf Lodge in Grand Mound, WA is supposed to be great. They have an indoor water park, dance floors, and a bunch of other things that you get access to when you book an overnight room. A friend went there and said it was worth the money to go.
