Spanx, or What?

So I just bought this new pair of really cute, tight stretchy pants. But then I looked behind me and my a$$ had this overhang thing going on. So if I am going to wear these, I need something that makes my rear nice and high and tight.

Suggestions? I want something light, not some big girdle-thing. And are there different types of Spanx? Which one's best?

Thanks.

What can I do next?

Yep! I have some awesome faux leather leggings. Right now, I wear them with longer cute tunic type shirts, but if I ever get the courage, spanx it will be :)

Hey Rosebud!
I've worn spanx before but just the underwear part and wasnt too crazy about them. Maybe, I'm still a bit too pudgy but I don't think they made me look slimmer :[..Perhaps the full body ones work best but in this heat I wouldn't dare put them on if I was going to spend any time outdoors. Good luck!

I purchased a pair of Spanx that were the bike short style. (Assist with the thighs, too) They pushed into my tummy I was uncomfortable the entire time I wore them. They offered the assistance that was required to pull off the flabby bottom and thighs, but I decided that comfort was far more important from now on and out went the Spanx! (They were also very warm, so if it is cool out it will assist to keep you warm!) Perhaps the slip version is a little more comfortable. Hopefully, you can go to your department store and bring in the offending garmet and give it a try in the fitting room before making the purchase to see if it is the right choice for you. Good Luck!

Personally, I have spanx too, and they make my behind look bigger. It lifts and sticks them so far behind, it looks like you are carry a bigger load than without spanx.

If you google spanx and put in your zip code, it will tell you wear to buy them near you. Usually there are some random boutique stores that carry them and those are great because you can bring in out the pants and someone in the store should be able to tell you what to get. There is a dress shop near me that carries Spanx and the saleswoman was great with recommending just the right product to fit under a dress that I was wearing to a special event and I looked and felt great with them on.

And bless you for checking the "rear view." There are so many women walking around in clothes that they just shouldn't wear without some supportive undergarments it's refreshing to read that someone cares!
