Your neighborhood pool, social events.

Any of the rec center (Plano, Frisco, etc) programs for summer.

What are her interests? Go to places that caters to her interests.

Good luck and thank you for thinking about your daughter and her needs. You sound like a good dad.

How nice of you to be concerned as it is such an awkward age to meet new people.

I second the Church youth groups. Even if you don't attend. Also, check out the FAC for Summer camps.

A church youth group could be a good option. If you have a regular church check out their youth group. If it doesn't suit your needs, you might check out the churches in your area and see if any have an active group that she could plug into.

At the Villages of Fairview (75/Stacy) in the area behind the mall there is a place called "The Beach" where there is sand volleyball. There is also a splashground, and there are often some older kids at both.

Cosmic Jump off of northbound 75 in Allen (I think off ElDorado) is fun anytime, but they also have Jr High and Sr. High jump times when she'd be able to meet other kids her age. Jump Town in Far North Dallas is similar. Check Groupon for deals at these places, as they can be pricey.

If you belong to a church, their youth activities would be a good way for her to meet others. If you have a community pool, that may also be a place to meet kids.

That's right about the age where forced chemistry is awkward. How about vacation bible school, sports camps and other day camps, hanging out at the neighborhood pool.
