Seeking Stylist/Colorist in Lincoln Square or Surrounding Area

I usually go to Michael Thomas (an Aveda Salon) in Bufflo Grove. I LOVE my stylist and colorist, but I just had a baby girl on January 6, 2007 and I really need to find someone closer to home...so I don't have to leave her for more than a couple hours while a family member watches her. The average price I pay for highlights (foil) and a cut/style is $145.00. I would love to know if someone is very happy with where they go in the neighborhood. Thank you so much for any replies.

I go to XOX on Sunnyside and Milwaukee. My stylist is Tsoma and she is friendly and very good. The phone number is ###-###-####. My cut is $30 and color is about $50 to $60 and highlights are about $60 to $70. They have a parking lot and the location is not far from Lincoln Square, you can take Montrose or Lawrence west to Milwaukee. Good luck

I would higly recommend Renessence Studio in Lincoln Square (4625 N Lincoln Ave, ###-###-####, http://www.renessence-studio.com/). I've had my hair cut there for 7 years now... my stylist is Kurt Russell (the owner) and he's great. I have several friends who also go to him and are very happy!

This isn't in Lincoln Square - it's in Bucktown, but I really like the Asha (Aveda) Salon/Spa. Jorie cuts my hair there and she's awesome. I've never had any coloring done, but a cut/style there is about $60.

I would suggest Christy at Siren salon on Lincoln just south of Belmont. The price should be comparable, I usually buy some product while I there and end up spending appox. $200. And I'm a highligh and cut girl too...although maybe not for long, with this last pregnancy alot of grey hairs popped up. Yikes!
