I'm looking for a really smart, attentive OBGYN with a warm bedside-manner and good follow-thru near Studio City. I'm willing to venture as far west as Tarzana, or as far east as Burbank. Any suggestions are welcome!
E., go see Dr. Jay Goldberg in Bev Hills. He is awesome, only delivers at Cedars so he is always there when you need him. Really put my husband and I at ease. Everyone I've met that has him as a doctor wants to have more kids, just to see him again!
I adore Dr. Joie Russo. She has privileges at Tarzana Hospital.
Dr Felicia Ota is fab. Great bedside manner, kind and very good. I live in West LA and travel to Tarzana to see her. She also delivered my daughter. I beleive there is a long wait to see her for new patints but if you don't need someone stat. she is worth waiting for.

for my second child, I used Dr. Lelsie Korostoff. I absolutely LOVE her. She has a phenomenal bedside manner, is VERY cheerful, knowledgeable and took all of my concerns to heart. She is in the same office With Dr. Han (whom I feel overbooks herself and thus doesn't give as much attention to her patients) and Dr. Cashie who I've heard good things about but never have seen her as a patient. They are about 3 blocks from St. Joseph's Hospital on Alamenda in Burbank. I would HIGHLY recommend her. We just had our baby in December and she took great care of us through the entire pregnancy.
I loved my OBGYN. Her name is Diana Wong and she is in Tarzana. I delivered both boys with her across from her offices at the women's center of Encino-Tarzana Medical Center. When there was a complication with one of my pregnancies, i truly believe how she handled it saved and ovary of mine and potentially my baby too. I am long overdue for my check up so I don't have her number on me, but she is in Tarzana in offices on Clark St. if you want to white pages or Google her.
Hi there! I live in Studio City and actually see an OBGYN in Santa Monica. It's a bit of a drive, so you may not be interested. But, if you really want a great OBGYN, I see Dr. Bliss at Plaza Tower Obstetrics. Her name says it all! She has an amazing bedside manner. She is very friendly and thorough. She will spend a good amount of time with you and is just plain likeable. I was referred to her by a close friend and my friend's neighbor. Dr. Bliss is wonderful! I work on the westside and we are moving over there, so that worked for me. Good luck!
