Seeking Daycare Recommendations in Dallas for Twin Boys

Hello! I have twin 11 month old boys and have recently been given the opportunity to go back to work part time. I've tried working at home with them here, but it's nearly impossible. I've been doing some research online about daycare centers, but it's a bit overwhelming. I have located a woman who has a daycare in her home who charges $190 a child, but I don't know if this is better than a structured facility. AND she doesn't offer part time care, which is really all I need right now. I would like someplace that offers 2-3 days a week care. MDO programs seem to be on a semester basis and I'm needing something SOON.
Can anyone recommend a daycare center that offers 3 days a week care? I'm not completely opposed to full time care, but cost will be an issue.
Thanks!

What can I do next?

You probably already realized what you're asking is difficult to find. I live in the East Dallas area and tried to find a place that does PT and FT and that's a hard one too. At your kids age a home daycare can work real well. My 2nd one is doing that now since I like it for kids under 2.5. You'll have to ask provider to provider if they do PT. Many schools I visited that said they do PT in reality did not. What I found is most prefer FT since then they don't need to find another parent with a complimentary schedule. Since you have twins you might consider a Nanny since when you have 2 it's more reasonable. Once the kids are 2 I know you can place them in Montessori and the one my elder goes to has PT available.
Congrats on finding the PT job. I so wish I could find one in my area. Good luck in your search!

Go to the above website and click on the get childcare now link, it's the first one. You can search for daycares and inhome childcare. You can search for the area closest to you. This was really helpful to me. I hope this helps you.

Good luck mama,
J. and baby Bethany
