My 2 year old son has figured out the fridge lock. Any ideas on how I can keep him out now?

What can I do next?

You just need to stay close to him at all times and be consistent with time out. All of these 2 yr old frustrating behaviors can be licked pretty quick with consistency. But they just get replaced with other new things they want to try. I don't think any child should be unsupervised long enough to get into serious trouble.

i had the same problem- we purchased the locks- 2 different brands & she just muscled it open. Now we tie a dish towel or a kitchen towel around the highest part of the handles & she can't get it open! Easy & free.

We put our fridge lock on the top of the fridge where our son can't reach it even if standing on a chair. Kind of a pain to open all the time for us parents, but worth the money saved having to replenish all the items like the time our son got up in the middle of the night and opened it and left it that way until we woke up the next morning!

They sell safety locks for refridgerators with all the other safety stuff they sell for household baby proofing.
