Recommended Ob/gyn in Northern Westchester Area?

My son had complications that were known from 3 months gestation. My ob/gyn was fantastic! Dr. DiStefano is with the Sleepy Hollow Medical Group, which is in the medical building on Phelps campus. Do NOT use any other doctor in that practice-she's the only one with fabulous bedside manner as she handled ME very well considering my situation (although the midwives are wonderful too). BTW, I gave birth by C-section at WMC just prior to Maria Ferrari Children's Hospital opening and it was top notch care regardless! I am in Briarcliff village/Ossining Town if you have any other questions about your new neighborhood.

I live in yorktown too and I go to westchester health in Mt. Kisco. I see Dr. Roth-Brown and Dr. Maffei. It is a small practice, which I like. If you like a bigger practice with more choices for doctors, but more patients, I would recommend Mt. Kisco Medical Group. Most of my mommy friends go there and both offices are affiliated with Northern Westchester Hospital. I had my second child there, and had a great experience. The nurses were wonderful!! I have not heard the greatest things about Hudson Valley but I think they may have redone the maternity ward, not too sure. Congratulations and Good luck!

I live in Yorktown. I have been going to Dr. Mimi Kang for over 10 years. She is great. She is part of Westchester Health but I don't think they are affiliated with HVHC. I gave birth to my daughter at Northern Westchester in Mt Kisco. We didn't have any problems there. They have all private rooms. I don't know anything about HVHC but I think they have a birthing center. Good Luck!

all my docs (my son's and hubby's too) are from the mt kisco medical group. i have been going to them for years and never had a problem. i use northern westchester hospital. i don't really care for HVMC. my mom goes there. it's a much smaller hospital.
