Hello ladies!!! I have a question about the birth control I am currently taking. My doctor put me on Lo Estrin 24 about two months ago and I ever since then I have had NO desire to be intimate with my husband. I have also noticed that I get angry real easily. Have any of you had this problem while on Lo Estrin 24? Any advice will be great!

BC pills often take 3 months to get used to. That said, if it's driving you crazy, ask your doctor to change your pill. Tell him/her about your side effects. Hormone levels in specific pills are often known for certain side effects. For example, I cannot take a tri-phasic pill, such as Ortho tri-cyclen, because it will give me awful migraines. Every woman is different which is why there are so many options!

I got off the pill in May and could not believe how my 'drive' improved! All those years----wasted!!!! I will not get on the pill again (taken several different ones)....I told hubby BC was in his court---shoot he is reaping mega benefits of me not on the pill so he is in charge now.....
Yes I always had issues with any hormone pill. I became angry easily, was paranoid and jealous, and had no desire for intimacy. I don't take birth control now and haven't for over 15 years. I got the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Dr. Toni Weschler and have successfully avoided and achieved pregnancy with her methods.

i was in birth control pill for about 4 months and all of that you mencioned is a side efect i am off the pill for 1 month and i feel so diferent am not always angry anymore also depressed and i have desire of intimace now i am considering another birth control method.
