Hi A. -

There are several good preschools in Parker, so you have lots of choices.

My kids have been going to Little Blessings (at Parker United Methodist) for 4 years. I have been very happy with this preschool! It is a great, loving and nurturing environment. They do a great job on the academic front, too. I can't recommend them enough.

Renaissance Montessori on Keystone

Edinborough School in Rowley Downs---Julie Christensen operates it out of her home and has a great resume in early childhood education.

I really like Cozy Pines Montessori and More - my 3 year old son is there 2 days a week from 9-1. We sent my daughter to Renaissance Montessori Academy and loved it, but they were more restricted on how many days they had to go. Good luck!

I have heard wonderful things about Southeast Christian Preschool, so we just got my 3.5 year old signed up to start Jan 5th. I am planning to send my 2 year old there next fall also.

Hi A. - there are a lot of great preschools in Parker. Your choice will depend a lot on your goals for your child.

If you want a Christian preschool, Southeast Christian is terrific. My son attended there for several years. The teachers were wonderful and my son went to kindergarten well-prepared even though he had just turned 5 when he started. Parker United Methodist, Joy Lutheran, PEPC and Ave Maria all have preschools too. My youngest attends preschool at our home elementary school and is absolutely loving it. My son's student teacher ratio at the public school is 5:1

There are also great learning programs at The Goddard School, Primrose, KinderCare and Sunshine Preschool and others. Most seemed to be geared toward full-time care which I didnt need so I didnt go that direction.

You are right to start looking for preschools now - you may find the Christian preschools have a waiting list already for the 2010/2011 school year.

Best of all things!

We absolutely love Sunshine Preschool. They have a wonderful curriculum that includes Spanish, sign language, science and social studies in addition to everything else you would expect at a preschool. Our 4th child is in her second year there. My older kids went to preschool at Joyful Mission and Ave Maria but we've been the most pleased at Sunshine.
