Hi. I was just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this. Not really a mom question, but hey.
I ordered prints of my daughter's school picture directly from the website and mistakenly put the wrong zip code, will I still get the package? I had to put in separate addresses for my billing and mailing address and when I looked at the email confirmation tonight, realized I forgot to change the zip code :( I did this about 3 days ago, so I don't know if the package left yet. I will call the company on Monday, but If it has, what are the odds of me getting the pictures?
As long as the address is correct, it will get to you...it might take a tad longer, but you should get it!!
My friend works at the post office and they will do their best to find the owner. Your name should be in their directory and they get address and ZIP code mismatches all the time. Most likely, they will go by the city and state when that happens. It will definitely take more time as it has to go through sorting, then mismatch, then human being... and we know what happens there. =)
I am pretty positive you will get the package. As long as the address is correct--the zip shouldn't matter as much. Good luck!
Things usually get figured out...... it may take a detour, but it usually gets corrected.
What happens, is that it automatically goes to the zip code you listed... but when the carriers are sorting the mail, they will see that it isn't their area... and then someone will probably have to check and see what the REAL zip code is...... but it should get to you, eventually......
If nothing else, you just contact the company, and say it hasn't arrived.. and blame them for putting the wrong zip code on the package! ;)
Yes, you will probably receive it. May be a day or 2 late.. but it will get there.
