NO they do NOT give you the letter but you can make or order Christmas cards online using the pics on the CD.

they are yours once you buy the CD use the photos as you see fit, they do not keep them on file for long

If you buy their CD I think they're your picture. Not sure. However, I live in a family where both my mother and mother-in-law take studio prints to the grocery store and make copies on the color copier, done on glossy paper. Oh well.

Just made cards from the CD at walgreens. I believe they are yours to use after you buy it, or so I was told.
Some of the CD pictures result in low quality pictures on cards, or at least if you try to make it a bigger p icture (like a 5 by 7).
Mine turned out ok, way less expensive than the christmas cards they wanted you to buy there.

I have gone there for years. I think if they had a problem with copyright, they would not offer the CDs. That is why you have to spend around $100 to get the CD...someone in that business has figured out what the copyright is worth to that company and if you spend it, you have esentually bought it. I have made cards with the CDs and posted my pictures on facebook and they turn out fine. I always end up spending around $200 everytime I go, so I have more than bought the rights to my kids pictures. It is all about money...if you spent enought to get the CD, it is yours.

They have told me before that we could print them ourselves from the CD, but that they would need to be, I believe, smaller than 8x10 to turn out nice, but if you wanted bigger, bring the CD back to them and they would print it for you.

Portrait Innovations does not give you the rights to print the pictures with the CD. You are supposed to take the CD back to Portrait Innovations to have any further prints made.

I believe since you purchaed the CD, there should be an automatic release statement on it. Call and double check.

No, they don't, they want you to buy their expensive prints.

I suggest that when you buy the CD, the pictures are yours to do as you wish. Read the contract. It should tell you.

If you plan to make the cards at home there should be no problem using the CD.
