Picture People Question

Lots of answers here and it may depend on which location you go to. As Mama J. said, they do offer a CD and they did just recently drop the price (in September), although I THOUGHT it was $125 instead of $150. I could be mistaken or again, it could depend on the location.

They do. It is expensive because it gives your the copyrights too. Then you can reprint as you wish.

We just purchased our Picture People CD a few weeks ago - it was $150 (reasonable, I think, compared to the actual pictures). They said it used to be $250 but they recently dropped the price. I think they take wonderful pictures. They give you a nice CD book with one of the pictures on the cover, as well as the copyright letter.

I honeslty would go and call hazeltonphoto.com caitlin will come to your home etc. the amount you spend at picture people is crazy when you can get incredible pics from caitlin

Are you talking about school photos? studio photo? What kind?
Most places will not give you a disc because they want you to purchase the prints from them. The photos are copyrighted by the photographer so to hand out a disc is up to the photographer or company. You will just have to ask.

Yes, for $250.00 and I belive you also have to buy at least on portrait.

I realize that I'm not answering your actual question BUT after reading some of the answers below I have a different idea for you. I just used a photographer out of Aurora/Naperville - her name is Stephanie and she's great!! When I used her she was less than the prices for the CDs I see in the posts below. She came to my house and took a ton of pics of my son and my son with my husband and I. Her website is stephmphoto.com. I've used her twice and will use her in the future as well!! \

She also gives a CD of all the pictures. My CD had well over 100 pictures and they were taken inside and outside of my home...she did a fabulous job!!

try Portrait Innovations, you get the CD as part of the whole deal, LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT and their method is my fav and most fun.

Yes they do, but you have to purchase the package that includes it or pay a fortune for it. Last year at Christmas, that package was almost 600.00. We spent just over 500.00 on a picture of all the cousins for my grandparents. I asked to purchase the CD at a discount because we had spent so much, and was told no. I won't be back. Watch the white background too. If it has lots of scuffs and scratches on it, don't use it. They say they don't show up in the pics but they did in ours and it looks horrible!!! Have them take you to a different room, where the white is not scuffed. They can't retouch or modify (photoshop) the photos there in any way to get rid of them...very frustrating. I was at the one at Westfield Mall in Joliet.
