Ohh...I am no where near you...So no idea's...

We have a PACKED Saturday and hopefully a relaxing Sunday.

Saturday we are going to be apart of the ''Barrier of Love''. Westboro church is coming out to Protest at the Powell Boys' memorial Service. They are justifying this because they say God killed them because of our State Passing the Same Sex Marriage Law.

The Barrier of Love is not a counter protest. We will dress nice, as if we are attending the service and stay completely silent. No noise. No fighting with the other side.

The Family reached out to the Occupations on the West side of the mountains ...i.e. Seattle and Tacoma and all those in between. They asked us if we would come and help shield them from WBC.

The group has bought Deep purple Piece's of fabric and will attach them to rods. From there we will keep those walls of fabric raised up before, during the service and when the family leaves to shield them from the nasty signs and language being directed at them.

We see they have suffered enough. We can not believe WBC would attack this poor family one more time.

From there I move to my weekly Protest in my City before moving on to my normal GA.

Very busy activism weekend! but I love it and would not change it for the world!

Hope you find something amazing to do with your days:)

No special plans here. I haven't heard yet from one mom about her little girl and it's our off weekend for 2 boys. So I think we are going into Saturday with a relaxing afternoon and night at least.

Tonight I am caring for 2 children that I have not yet cared for. One is a tiny baby. He's pretty little and cuddly at this point, 8-9 weeks old. So that's going to be both good and tiring. I've not had to feed overnight in awhile. But the good news is, I just bought a new rocker recliner. So I'll at least have a place to sit with him overnight since we have that in my room.

One of my regular moms asked to keep her little one with me until 7:30 tonight. He's gonna be unhappy because he's 19 months and senses exactly what time it is and gets made if his parents are late. He's also going to be jealous when the baby gets here.

Boring stuff huh?! My best hope for any weekend is to enjoy some reading time, make some good meals, and get to bed a little earlier at least one night.

My 6 year old has his last basketball practice, my 4 year old has a birthday party to attend, my daughter's hair needs done (she's mixed but likes it straight...so it's at least a 90 minute process with the texturizer in it), and I have a midterm due on Sunday. That's our plans!

No big plans here. I have a "coffee date" with a close friend Saturday morning and then a birthday party later in the day. It is supposed to be cold here, too. Other than that I have no plans. Hope everyone has a happy weekend whatever your plans :)

Shredding papers. Yuk. Nah, we always cook and listen to music and read and just have a nice weekend. So maybe I'll leave the papers for some other time

It'll be cold here but no snow this weekend (as far as I know). Tonight I'm meeting someone to sell them my double stroller. Then it's home with the kiddos and we're making mini banana bread muffins :) Cooking dinner and then playing with the kids. Tomorrow we'll grocery shop then go over to a friends for a playdate and some mommy - mommy time for me! The rest of Saturday will probably go fast and I hope to study for a quiz in my class I'm taking for work. Probably making a new meatloaf recipe and also buffalo chicken pie (both I've never made!). Sunday is church then lunch with my parents then home to do laundry and get ready for Monday. So not really anything exciting but I'm glad it's almost the weekend!

Well here in Wisconsin in February...this is one of the first times I still see grass in places...such a mild winter and it freaks me out. Anyway, it is snowing pretty good right now and if it stays on the ground this time I would love to take my six year old sledding this weekend...I've been waiting for a good amount of snow that sticks around this year. I usually do this with her every winter...but so far this winter is a no go. =( So probably laundry, and making sock puppets lol.

The new Crown Center exhibit is pretty ok - my 4-year-old liked it last week but we go after school when it's not crowded; the weekend could be a zoo since it's actually cold!

Science City is always a good indoors bet, as are Wonderscope, Jumping Jax, Lakeside Nature Center, Paul Messner puppets (they are doing Strega Nona this weekend) and Kaleidoscope.

I think the Ernie Miller Nature Center has a program scheduled this weekend.

Our Lowe's is doing a valentine's project for all ages.

Family Fun Day at the Nelson is a chinese dragon theme (I think).

The Plaza Library has dramatic story time on sunday with The Coterie.

Of course, out of all of this, I bet my guy stays home most of the time to play with his trains! As for me, I signed up for a 4-mile run (love2run kansas city) at the downtown airport Sunday morning. I am so not excited that it is actually cold!
