Check out dawnm.com. We have used Dawn for my daughters 6 month and 1 year photos. We absolutely love her. Her prices are reasonable and her photos are amazing. My daughter was not in the best mood for her 1 year but the pictures were fantastic anyway. A few of them are on her website.

I just had my son's photograph taken by a man referred to me by my neighbor. He is AMAZING. And inexpensive! THe most incredible thing is that he comes to your house. So, my son was completely comfortable and happy. He brought a backdrop, but ended up just following my son around and snapping totally natural shots. Your daughter, of course, will not be running around. :)

Anyway, he was so great. And he sent me ALL the photos for review. I had 37 to choose from and ended up buying an album (which he made for me) including 20 photographs.

I HIGHLY recommend him. I hope he travels to Lincoln Square. I don't know why he wouldn't. I live in Old Town.

I have a GREAT photographer that I used for my son's Baby Parts photos when he was 6 months. He does family photos also. He is awesome and has such a fantastic artistic eye. His phone number is 847-433-kids. People come in my house and see my Baby Parts and they LOVE it! I want to go back to him for my son's 1 year also, as well as doing a family photo. I hope you use him because he is great and super nice too. And he is not pushy when it comes down to purchasing.

My friends used Dawn M. for their daughter's one year old portraits and family portraits. They really liked her and said her prices were very reasonable. Their pictures were BEAUTIFUL! Her website is dawnm.com The quality of her work is consistent with what's on her website. I plan on using her for our family pictures for the holidays. She works mostly on the North side and I have to mention that my friends drove in from Orland Park to use her!
