Pediatricians in Peoria/Glendale Area

I second Great destinations! Both my daughters have gone there since birth we see Dr. Lombard, but have seen dr. Shepard, and dr. Prentice and love them all. Anyone of those three would be great!

Our pediatrician is Dr Shephard at Great Destinations Pediatrics. She is wonderful. She has taken care of my daughter since about 18 months and my son since birth. I trust her implicitly. The number is ###-###-####. I don't know what insurances they take or if they go to the hospital. My son was born across town due to the location of my OB/GYN.

Cactus Children's Clinic. It's right next to the hospital. ###-###-####. My kids see Dr. West., but the whole staff seems to be great. My older son had his circumcision done at the hospital, but my younger son had complications and was in the NICU for a while. Circumcision was not a priority. So his was done at the Dr.'s office. Everything turned out fine with both boys. Good luck with Dr. shopping.

Could Banner Thunderbird give you a list of Pediatricians that they work with? They should even know of the insurance affiliation so they should be able to give you only names that meet the requirement.

BTW, I had both my daughters there and loved everything about the hospital!

Northwest Clinic for Children - located on 35th and Greenway. Although Dr. Kaus is my children's dr, I've seen almost all of the dr's there and all are GREAT!. I have a boy and a girl, and both have been taken great care of by their dr.s. Let me know if you want their phone number.

As far as the circumsicsion - I don't believe that the hospitals do it anymore - not sure, but my son's was done in the clinic - very quick proceedure.

I also used Banner Tbird for my hospital - great staff there as well.

I have been very happy with Cactus Children's, which is right across the street from Banner Thunderbird. I've seen 2 different docs and a PA there, and all have been great.

Cactus Children's Clinic is where I take my kids. It's right across the street from Banner T-bird. When I had my son (5 years ago) I was told that they generally don't do circumcisions in the hospital any longer, that the pediatrician does it at the office. My son was circumcized there. They have quite a few doctors on staff and all are fantastic, plus two nurse practioners. My kids main dr. is Cynthia Jacquemart. I absolutely love her!

We live in Buckeye, but still drive out to Glendale for my kids' pediatrician...worth it to me. Cactus Children's Clinic is where we go, I've been very happey with all of the doctors there. Dr. Michael, Dr. West, and Dr. Jaquamart are some of my favorites. I delivered all five of my children at Tbird, two of them boys and the circumsion was done there before my hospital stay was over. Not sure of their coverage, but I'd definitely recommend them. Here's their number ###-###-####, they are located approx. 57th and Tbird.
