Nursing Bra Pads

I get the Laniosh ones at walmart if you dont want to go to the mall. Those and Medela work great! I hated Johnson an Johnsons. They always stuck to my nipples and I always had little fibers to pick off before feeding so they wouldnt get in my sons mouth.

Lansinoh brand hands down!! I've always produced a wealth of milk (I've even donated to hospitals for preemies) and the Lansinoh pads are discreet and keep you dry...even through the night! They are the best I've ever used and I breastfed all 5 of my children (still breastfeed my baby).

Medela are the best; they are very absorbent but still thin and never lumpy. Lansinoh are second best. Gerber are horrible.

I LOVED the Medela ones you can buy at Target or Babies R Us. They are made of thin paper like material that has an absorbent center. They are descreet and effective.

My favorite were the Medela disposable pads. They were large enough where they absorbed a lot and didn't crease or bunch. They are also very thin and didn't show an outline, even in a form-fitting shirt.

I found Johnson & Johnson to be the best. They didn't crumple or move like some of the thinner ones. They have a very natural padded shape that I wore even under lightweight nursing tops. Also, very absorbent.

I like the Lasinoh brand, as they are the thinnest, but they are very absorbent. My boss at work who is also nursing swears by Lily Padz, which you can check out at http://www.lilypadz.com/index1.html. She loves them ecause she leaks a lot with all of the disposaeable, but with Lily Padz, she does not leak at all, as they are designed to prevent leakage, not absorb leakage.

I liked the Lansinoh brand as well. They curved well and were not lumpy. Fit nicely in my bra. You just have to be sure to switch them out often enough.

The Lansinoh pads are fantastic. They are thin and very absorbent. I also [roduced a ton of milk and these were a great fit for me.

They have some great permanent and disposables (lansinoh)at motherhood at the mall.
The disposables are great because they have sticky stuff to stay in your bra and you can change them out as frequently as you need to.

I used Lansinoh pads with both of my kids. Liken them to a soft, ultra-thin maxi. For me - Medela was too papery and rough. I hated Avent - like a huge overnight pad! You could totally see the big circles under my shirts. Yuck.

Lansinoh products worked best for me all around. Also, you might already know this, but I found out the hard way - when/if you pump (I did even with my daughter who stayed at home with me, and I nursed exclusively), use the Lansinoh cream on your nipples BEFORE you pump - it acts as a lubricant so your nipple doesn't rip from the plastic breast sheilds.

I use Lansinoh. I leak a lot and they are very absorbent as well as discrete.

Johnson and Jonson were recommended to me before my daughter was born and they worked GREAT.

I'd like to second KRISTINE T's advice of Lilypadz. They were by far the best and they can be worn without a bra. No being tied to a nursing bra while you sleep!

I highly recommend the Lansinoh pads. They cost a little more than the cheaper ones, but they have a very discreet shape and are shaped to fit your body really well. They are also very absorbent and they are each individually wrapped so you can carry them with you and not worry about them getting dirty, contaminated, etc.

I liked the Lansinoh brand. Very thin, yet hold a lot. More expensive, yet minimizes leaks, that's for sure.

I also produced a lot of milk and my other breast would always letdown at the same time as my first, so I would soak my nursing pads. I found, later, that when I (discretely, when in public) pressed my arm against my other breast, I could stop the letdown and save the pad.

Lansinoh contour "heavy flow" are great.
Gerber make sa contoured "heavy" too if I remember. It ws hard to find anywhere but babies r us. I think it felt softer though.

Contoured is the key for it not showing through shirts.

When I was nursing in the beginning and leaked all the time, I tried several brands and the ones that worked best for me were the Lansinoh brand nursing pads. They were incredibly thin and discreet, but highly absorbent as well. I also used Lansinoh brand lanolin to prevent cracked nipples. Just wanted to pass along what I learned through trial and error to another mom!

I LOVE the Medela nursing pads! I tried the Lansinoh - which were painfully obvious and looked hideous. I actually threw away an entire box of Avent because it gave me lumpy looking breasts. The Medela ones hold a TON of milk. Like you, I have LOTS of milk and it can hold a ridiculous amount, but the pad is still thin and shaped so that you can't see it under your bra. Good luck!

I have a 9 month old and I produced a LOT of milk also. I found that the Johnson and Johnson pads were the best. The Curity brand are awful! They are scratchy and I leaked through them very quickly. I found that pumping right before bed helped a lot to stop the leaking. Good luck and best wishes!

I have three boys and nursed all of them. I really liked the Johnson and Johnson brand. They are soft and form fitting in the bra. The Avent brand is good too, but a little more expensive. I did NOT like the Gerber brand. They are like round panty liners - really rough and inflexible. Good Luck!!

I really liked the contoured Gerber with my first one but they stopped making them. The Medela work very well and they are curved for discretion. The only thing is they are $10 for a one month supply. It's not gonna break the bank but its more than the others. I also have tried Playtex they are newer and they are ok. They are also curved.

I used the Avent ones and was happy. I have also heard good things about the Medella and Lansinoh ones. Stay away from the Gerber ones.

I had the same problem, and I really liked the Avent nursing pads the best. They are soft and hold alot. I have heard of something called LilyPads too, though... I don't know where you get them, but I think they are supposed to like completely stop your breasts from leaking. I think they might be silicone or something, too, so they probably look pretty natural.

Johnson and Johnson make a great pad. Not lumpy at all but kinda thick, but they absorb ALOT! Gerber also makes a pretty good pad

Dr. Browns. I've got four kids from 6 mo - 16 yrs, and they are hands down the absolute best.

I loved the Madella disposable pads. They were curved to fit the shape of my breast and thin enough that they didnt show through but held A LOT.

Lilypadz worked the best. They create a "seal" and really keep the leaking in check. When I went back to work (and heck, even before), I swear I would start running like a faucet every 3 hours. Lilypadz kept that from happening. They are pricey-ish, but you only need one or two sets for the duration. Congrats on the new babe!

Try Lillypadz. They are about $20 but a set will last about 6 months. They don't work on absorbtion, they are very thin latex and work by putting a gentle pressure on the nipple to stiffle leakage. I have given them to many of my doula clients and they absolutely LOVE them! You cannot see them under clothing and there is no need to change them during the day.

If you cant find them at Target ( I think they sell them there now) I beleive you can get them at Motherhood or at Baylor Dallas Simply Moms boutique.
