Notary in Cranberry/Mars/Wexford/Gibsonia, Pennsylvania?

I'm looking for notary services. My bank (PNC) only does notary on documents related to them (i.e. mortgages), and I called AAA and they charge $5 a seal -- I need about 10 seals and wasn't planning to spend $50 for this. Other suggestions?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks for all the responses. I called about 4-5 different places and a few confirmed, as other moms did below, that the pricing is set by state law. So I just went to a local UPS store as it was convenient.

From what I know you can be charged up to $10.00 per seal based on notary law. In CA everyone charges $10.00 per seal because they can. You could look up notary services in your area and see who is the cheapest. You could also call your local credit unions to see if they charge, some do some don't. You do have to be a member to use their services though.

Hi J.. You might try calling a realtor you know personally or have worked with in the past - they could probably pull in a favor with a title company they do business with who could notarize them for you. You can also call other banks in your area and see if they will give you a flat rate for notarizing 10 docs.

Call your town hall clerks office, someone in that office can usually notarize.

we went to kinkos in North Hills and they charged us 5 dollars. I think any place you go will charge you.

Notaries charge a set rate by law, and in PA it is $5.00/seal. It is probably going to cost that no matter where you go, so just go somewhere convenient.
