Hi! Does anyone know of any good public parks or playgrounds in the Everett, MA area or any of the surrounding towns? Call me picky or what have you but I'm looking for a playground that sits on that soft rubbery material NOT mulch or dirt! The only one that I've come across was in Arlington, but it's a bit of a hike for me! Any suggestions would be great!

What can I do next?

We're in the Medford/Malden area. We take our kids to the the one near BJs off the Fellsway in Medford relatively near Wellington, one at Carr Park at the top of Fulton St in North Medford, and one across from the Stoneham Zoo.

I live in Malden and take my son to a playground down the street. They just completely overhauled it last year. It's perfect for little kids. So if you take Main St. toward Malden (away from the rotary at rt.99)- then take a left onto Medford St. You'll then take a right on Madison (Madison is just a few blocks after you turn onto Medford- there is a light at this intersection) and it'll be a couple of blocks up on your left. I don't think the park has a name- but it's attached to a baseball field. It gets a bit congested with older kids on days there are baseball games- but that's mostly on the weekends. During the week it's great! Have fun! Maybe I'll run into you there.

Hi K.! I take my 3 yo daughter and 15 month old son to the park on the corner of Lynn and Fuller St. We practically go everyday when the weather is nice. The park is fenced in and offers lots for the kids to do and lots of places for the adults to relax. I've been taking my daughter there since she was my son's age. We've actually made many friends at this park. Maybe we'll see you there when it gets nicer out!
