I am trying to find a good, reputable place to get my transmission in my Chrysler Town and Country looked at and repaired if needed. Has anyone had any luck with a place? I would prefer it to be close to Ballwin, Manchester, Ellisville, or Chesterfield, or anywhere relatively close by those areas. Thanks for ANY help you can give me!

What can I do next?

Hi K.~
I took my Nissan to the Dobb's in Chesterfield Valley. They were quick and "appeared" quality. I have no car knowledge so I just have to trust the professionals. The Dobb's helped me solve my problem and also fixed a small problem for free since they were working on that area anyway. Good luck. ~C.

Hi K.,
My husband (Larry) is an auto mechanic at Al's Automotive and Tire in Fenton. The shop is located just off of Hwy 141 (between Hwy 30 and Hwy 21). The website is http://www.alsautomotiveandtire.com/
Give them a call and ask to speak to Larry about your vehicle.

I do not know anyone in those areas ... but let me say that we had our transmission done on one of our cars a few years ago and after we got it done ... someone said we should have gotten a transmission from a junk yard put into our car instead of a brand new one. It will save you tons!
