I'm a mother to a beautiful 5 mo. old little boy and currently work as a dental hygienist two days a week. I also have been trying to do some contract work one day a week. The problem with the contract work is that they are very unreliable and call at the last minute when I have plans or can't get a sitter. I would like to continue working the two days but stop doing contract work. I would like to find something I can do from home or at least have a one day a week job that is consistent. Ideally, I only want to be away from him 3 days a week or 2 days if I can do it from home. I need to make about $400 a month. Let me know if you have any ideas. I do not want to host any sort of parties!

Have you thought about selling stuff on Ebay? I started doing this with just stuff around the house. So far I've made a little over $300 in three weeks. I know that's not a ton, but HEY IT'S MONEY! And, I get to do it from home, and I don't have to have a babysitter for my 2 yr old.
I have the same problem. I could actually take my son to work with me but I don't want him to be exposed to all the chemicals I deal with. However I was watching Good Morning America about a week ago and Diane Sawyer was talking about stay home moms. She was talking about different jobs we can do from home so we can still spend time with our family. You can locate the article at abcnews.go.com

The company is really cool and you have the option to build a sales team or schedule your own appointments and sell business-2-business. There is also on-going training provided - conference call - and they have them almost everyday.

H., I just started working part-time at my church in Flower Mound. I work in the childhood ministries watching children of parents that are in bible classes and/or MOPS. They pay very well, but its only for 3.5 hours a day at 3 days a week. The best thing is you can bring your child with you and know they are well taken care of. They do ext back ground checks and are meticulous about every step they take from cleaning to bath room brakes. Just an idea for extra income, free child care, and you can get out of the house.
