Need Pocket Doors Installed

I am looking for someone to install pocket doors (to replace regular doors) in our home. What is the going rate for a pocket door to be installed? I am trying to make a room bigger by removing the regular outswinging doors, and installing 3 pocket doors. All recommendations are welcome.
Thank you.

What can I do next?

We just had pocket doors installed in our kids jack n' jill bathroom. We searched for someone to do the work but a lot of companies were really expensive (thousands of dollars). We ended up going with a kitchen and bath construction company who charged us about $700 per pocket door. We bought the pocket door frames and doors ourselves and just had the company install them. We purchased the frames and doors from Agoura Sash and Door in Agoura Hills. The company we used is called Plaza Kitchens in Newbury Park. I don't know if they took on the job because we were having additional work done (just doing pocket doors might be too small a job for them but you can ask). Also, Agoura Sash and Door can give you names of people who can install the pocket doors but like I said we thought the bids we received were quite expensive.

Hi. I don't know the details, but I have a great handyman. He is reliable, respectful and $15/hour. Let me know if you need his contact info.

I love watching the Home & Gardening channel. I don't know from experience, but I think you can buy a pocket door kit at Home Depot so you could hire a handyman (unless your man is a handy man :) )
