exciting thing is happening, I am meeting my girl friends after 5 years.. and all of us have 1 kid now.. so kids are meeting for the first time. I want to give something special to everybody, not very expensive, something personalised. I was thinking summer caps for all 8 of us.. 4 moms and 4 kids.. and write something related to frinedship on it.
well, still need to find where can I get it those caps? and do you guys know any kind of markers or something I can write it on caps? I am flying on Thursday.. so i have only tomorrow..
any other ideas are welcome.

You could also decorate picture frames with all your names or something special to the group (you can get inexpensive wooden ones at JoAnn's or Michael's) - just use paint or even Sharpies. Then make sure you get a photo of everyone together you can email to them and they can print out and put in the frame later on.
OK--my first thought is: What is the common bond that the 4 of you have from 5 years ago? How did you all meet?
College buddies?
It would be cool, in the case of college friends to give adults and kids hats with the school name/logo.

You can also have everyone sign each hat
Target, Walmart and stores like that sell a whole pack of all kinds of pretty colored Sharpie markers that are specifically designed for writing on clothing and stuff...it is like $25 and the package has a picture of some shoes that are all written on... and maybe a T-shirt too, I think? It is hard to miss and sounds exactly like what you are looking for! At my Walmart the markers are in the arts and crafts section over by the fabric...
Friendship bracelets would be cute? I like the hat idea though!!!
Or maybe even T-shirts with something clever written on them?

Hobby Lobby or Michael's will have what you need. You can print coupons from their websites before you go to either store and it will help keep the costs down.
