Need a New Ped

I am frustrated with Palmetto Peds and need a new dr. When we moved here last year I was impressed with them, but after several missed diagnoses with my now 1 year olds gastrointestinal issues and food allergies, my now 2 1/2 year olds cyst in her ear, long wait times and lately the "out source" of the nurses help line.
I would love to find a smaller practice that takes Blue Cross Blue shield of SC. I want them to be smaller so they can get to know my kids and I understand a little wait but 2 hours to get in and out for a well check up!
Anyone know of a good place, I would prefer to stay away from the NorthEast as we live in Lexington.
Thanks, M.

So What Happened?

I was contacted by the corporate office after posting this. I tried the lexington location today and liked Dr.Dewar. We will see the staff there seems really nice and it only has two dr.s so hopefully it will be better with atleast the wait time and attention. The staff was also super friendly too. I'll keep you posted thanks to everyone for your suggestions.

We really like Sandhills Pediatrics (http://sandhillsped.com), and they have a relatively new office in the Lexington area. We us Dr. Rickenmann at the Richland medical park office, but I've heard good things about the docs in the lexington office too.

Well, I can refer you to my doctor, but it may be a bit of a drive for you....he's in Chapin. He is the only doctor in the practice and they are awesome!! I transferred to him after my then 8wk. old was mis-diagnosed. Sandhills diagnosed him w/ a cold and he actually had RSV!! They never even took the time to test him for it! Anyway, his name is Dr. Luke Bonnett w/ Chapin Pediatrics and their number is: ###-###-####. When my baby is sick I can call them the same day and they always work me in. Hope this helps!

They take BCBS.

Try Dr. Luberoff at Luberoff Pediatrics. He was good for my kids when they were babies and the wait time wasn't bad either. He's in Lexington off Old Chapin Rd / Old Cherokee.
