Hi!
It's not the polish, it's that you need a base coat and top coat. :o) Takes longer, but if you use 60 second high speed top coat, it will dry them and provide the top coat in one step! Should stay on a week. Good luck!

Hi S.,

My favorite drugstore brand is Sally Hansen, very good products. OPI is also very good but a bit more expensive. My favorite color is Passion -- very pale pink that looks almost transparent.

You need to dehydrate and balance the p.h. level of the nail before applying any type of nail polish. OPI chip skip works great used w/ any brand. The bottle will last you forever! I believe you can get it at Sally's now. That is a nail tech's essential. Or at least mine. I am never w/out it for a service!!

OPI and Essie are my favorites. They are only about $6 or $7...worth it.

O.P.I is on the top of my list. I used to be a manicurist and this is the only one that would work!
Also may I suggested washing hands before polishing to remove oils from the nail bed. You can also take a cotton ball with alchohol to remove excess oils before polishing. O.P.I also makes a natural nail strengthner call Nail Envy.($15)

I have to agree w/ Dina - OPI is fantastic but $$, though I'm finding more and more that you get what you pay for these days! Revlon is good if you take time to use a good base/top coat and let it dry all the way before doing anything!

I bought some clear polish from Sally's Beauty Supply that I really like. It's called Palladio Green Tea Nail Fortifier. It stays on really well. In face, when it's time to take it off, you have to scrub a little bit - LOL!

Try Sally Hansen. I especially liked the Teflon stuff.
