I am pregnant with my second child (our first is a boy named Mateo). We both really love Raquel for the first name. We have a long Spanish last name and are searching for a short middle name that flows. So far we like Ava, Amaya, and Elena. Can you give us some other ideas? Thanks so much in advance.
We named her Raquel Grace. My mother-in-law's name is Graciela so she was very touched that we chose the name Grace. Thanks for everyone's suggestions.
I have a friend whose daughter's middle name is "Amara" (the husband is from Spain) - and I think it is pretty.
I think anything with open sounding vowels is nice for the middle name, as Raquel is a fairly strong first name.
I'd also recommend "Elise", "Elena" (as you said) or "Alana", "Eva", "Alicia", or "Serena"
