Does anyone know of a good place to get meat & veggies around the Birmingham/ Hoover/ Bessemer Area? We moved here from GA and we had several places like that, but I haven't seen as many around here. A drive -thru would be a huge plus. Thanks in advance.
Definitely Paw Paw Patch in Homewood and yes, they have a drive thru! Also, and this is a bit more of a stretch for you, Niki's West in Birmingham, just off of Finley Blvd. YOu've never seen a line of so many fresh veggies and entrees!
I don't know of any drive-thru places, but there are a couple of homestyle places I can recommend. Railroad Cafe is on Morgan Rd. in Bessemer (just off exit 6 from 459), and Frankie's in Helena is awesome! Its also on Morgan Rd. but further down, in Helena, across from Golden Rule BBQ, which also actually has vegetables & other meats (beside BBQ)on their menu daily. (Check Frankie's hours before you go...I think they are open daily for lunch, but only 3 or 4 evenings.) Hope this helps!
Try the Paw Paw Patch... it is good. Call for the hours. it is in Homewood.. Good vegetables.
