Make up for a Sweaty Faced Person, Bare Minerals?

I just bought some physicians formula powder base, and I like it, but my face sweats an incredible amount this time of year, and I actually have to wipe my face several times, does any make up last through this kind of onslaught? What does everyone else do this time of year about foundation, I hate to feel my make up, and I much prefer powder, although I don't mind a tinted moisteriser.

What can I do next?

LOVE BARE MINERALS.

It's changed my skin and I'd go without something else to buy it IF I had too.

If you are open to a tinted moisturizer, Cllinique has a new one that is resistant to sweat, water, etc. I am currently using a sample I received at the Clinique counter & absolutely love it! They will match the shade to your skin tone & it has a nice even coverage. I have a lot of discoloration from my days as a teenage sun goddess (not good!) & this product covers better than regular foundations I have tried! It also has an SPF in it for added protection.

My face also sweats a lot, and I always go out and buy Bare Minerals at the beginning of the summer. If you're like me, the sweat is accompanied with my skin turning flaming red whenever i'm hot too and the bare minerals really helps to keep it in check. It also doesn't melt off easily either. I love it!

Gotta agree with the ladies who love Bare Minerals. Even if you sweat and have to blot your face, the coverage stays good. It is the only thing that works for me and looks good all of the time.
On a side note, I am SO glad I am not the only girl out there with this problem!

Mineral makeup is great and a fast morning solution, but you have to look closely at the ingredients. If it has bismuth oxy in it, your oily face will shine more. If it has kaolin in it, the clay helps to absorb the oil. That said, my personal makeup choice is L'oreal Bare Naturals. Get a skunk brush, (don't use the brush in the makeup cap), dip lightly, and look great for most of the day. Can't think of any makeup that lasts all day. As always, YMMV.

I too have very oily skin and have had makeup problems. I used to use a "prep" from Mary Kay. It was a lotion that you put on your face that either absorbed oil or created a "matte" type finish that allowed you to apply makeup without it all fading.

I also use powders on my face. You can use a gel rouge that will stick more to your skin and cream types on your eyes. I also use waterproof mascara so it doesn't wipe or sweat off.

I think looking like your wearing very little makeup is attractive. Particularly if you go from "looking made up" to it all melting off.

Also, I've heard that using little makeup tissues to blot the oil is better than wiping at your face.

For that reason I don't use "foundation", just coverup as needed and an eye brightener.
